TrinSoft is currently looking for a talented Microsoft Dynamics Consultant and Business Analyst to join our technology services team in Lexington, KY. This person is responsible for consulting with our mid-market customers and helping them streamline their operations, reporting and systems using our Dynamics solutions.  This role will work to help identify customer challenges and improvement areas and design solutions that will help to address them using our technology.   This person will then oversee the implementation of these solutions by being the bridge between our technical resources and the customer.   This person will work directly with our customers and must have strong relationship and communication skills and be comfortable leading group discussions and one-on-one meetings with higher level accounting, finance and IT personnel.

The ideal candidate will have experience accounting and systems workflow.  They also need to be conversant with current information technology and, more importantly, willing to learn and stay current with technology and changes in our industry.  This role must have the ability to effectively solve challenging company financial, workflow and information/reporting problems.

The Consultant/Analyst is responsible for:

  • Obtaining and maintaining expert-level knowledge in business systems workflows and best practices
  • Working with companies to help identify challenges and offer solutions to them
  • Solving business issues and helping customers utilize our solutions to their fullest potential
  • Create specifications and solution documents
  • Train end-users and help install and configure solutions
  • Fostering teamwork
  • Obtaining and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics certifications


  • 4-year degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Finance or equivalent; CPA is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in industry or consulting
  • Experience with financial projects, transaction workflows and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP Solutions a plus
  • Microsoft Certifications a plus

Role includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:  Maintain network architecture and hosted infrastructure (Azure).  This includes knowledge of the following: Microsoft networking, virtualization, hosting, Windows servers, DNS, desktop workstation support, printer support, routers/switches, wired and wireless networking, Microsoft Office365 products.

  • Set up accounts and workstations
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

Skills & Experience

We will consider all candidates, even those with little or no IT experience if they are willing to learn.  If you have experience in IT Administration, that is great, and we will help you learn more.   We cover a wide variety of servers, applications and services.
