In previous version of GP, an end user would have to open the History Summary and History Detail Inquiry windows in order to look up transactions in any year prior to the currently open year. Not anymore!
A new feature in GP 2015 that end users had been asking for is here. GP has combined the Inquiry Window to include both Open and Historical years. As you can see in the screenshot below, there are only two inquiry windows. One for Summary and one for Detail.
When inside the inquiry window, you can just simply select your year from the dropdown, no matter if it’s the current year or a historical year.
It’s easy to switch between any year without having to exit or reopen screens!
