At the 11th year of GPUG Summit, it was announced Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 will be released on December 1. During the GP Keynote session given by Pam Misialek, Marketing Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP, a few of the new features were discussed as well as the latest GP product roadmap. They are moving to yearly releases instead of every 6 months, and each year the new releases will come out at the end of the year.
New features in GP 2018:
- Optimize Financials/HRP with more features
- Comprehensive Doc Attach
- Power “Suite” Evolution •User Experience-everything and anything a user wants to make their job easier
- Workflow 3.0
Pam shared the importance of users sharing their suggestions and ideas for GP features on Connect.Microsoft.com. Microsoft listens and takes these suggestions into consideration when developing new product functionality. In fact, over half of GP 2018 new features came from the Connect website.
