Hello, Bobby Haggard with TrinSoft here, and welcome back to our video series as we continue to introduce our new software solution, PHTPlus! As a reminder, our unique solution is specifically designed for the plating, heat treating, and finishing services industry where you receive a part from a customer, perform a process or routing on those parts, and then once complete, you ship those very same parts back to the customer.
As I mentioned previously, our solution is built on the Microsoft Dynamics platform and is designed to give the user a single view into all of the different processes going on within their system and warehouse.
In this video we are going to look at two specific types of pages within our system, how to navigate within them, and some of the unique features with each.
We are now in a list page…this is one of the most common and basic type of pages within PHTPlus.
A list page is exactly what it sounds like — a listing of all items in your company. Some nice features of the list page include the ability to sort columns, along with some nice filtering options. A nice timesaving feature is the factbox on the right. When a user selects an item, you can see specific details related to this item appear. The blue highlights are dynamic and will take the user directly to that specific window. Note that this factbox is also completely customizable to the user’s preferences.
The second basic type of page is a card page. This is where all of the general information is stored. We are looking at the item card, however, other similar card pages include customer, vendor, and account cards. Each card page is made up of different tabs that have groups of specific information. You can see that some fields even show when the tab is minimized. These are called promoted fields, and the user can control which field or fields are promoted. This is another quick time saver for the user.
Alright, that was a very quick overview of list & card pages within PHTPlus. Thank you for taking the time to watch this video and please stay tuned for future videos where we will begin to jump into some of the features that really make our PHTPlus solution unique.
As always, if you have any questions or would like to discuss our solution further, please don’t hesitate to give me a call at 859-252-6225 or send me a quick email.
Thanks again and have a great day!
