COVID-19 Disruption: TrinSoft and Microsoft Can Help

The spread of the COVID-19 virus has impacted the lives of countless people around the world.

Our thoughts are, of course, with the families and loved ones of the victims, those who are suffering today, and the selfless caregivers who are working tirelessly to treat them and to eradicate this disease.

Beyond these, many more lives have been disrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak due to travel and public gathering restrictions, interruption to important services and the challenge of remaining productive while working from remote locations.

TrinSoft and Microsoft can empathize with this disruption as thousands of employees are currently working remotely due to the outbreak, including many employees in the US.  In fact, I’d like to share a letter written by one of Microsoft’s employees, Lily Zheng, who has shared her experience working remotely in Shanghai.

Inspired by Lily’s story, Microsoft has been focusing on how they can help those who are facing the challenge of working in different ways and to ensure that organizations can continue forward despite these challenges.

Many businesses effectively accommodate high volume remote work today using Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft solutions.  They want to ensure that all customers are aware of these same solutions right now and that customers can access deployment, training and support resources their employees may need to begin quickly using them.

To help do this, we want to be clear that Teams is available to you. If you’re currently not licensed for Teams, we can provide you with a free six-month offer of Office E1/G1 that includes Microsoft Teams. Please let us know if you’d like to discuss this offer.

We plan to add more offers and resources like these in the coming weeks that you can follow here.

TrinSoft and Microsoft remain committed to your health, safety and wellbeing.

We also encourage you to read TrinSoft’s COVID-19 Readiness Policy here.
